We've been busy...

We have been busy these past two months and are excited to update you on the incredible impact your support is making!

• Fifty three families received food including rice, maize flour, beans, cooking oil, and soap. With all that is going on in the world it has become more difficult for people in Rugarika to get food as prices have dramatically increased and they are extremely grateful for the food GIFTS Rwanda is able to provide through your support.

• Two hundred twenty people received medical insurance for the year. These families had no way of paying for this themselves and are so grateful for your caring and support of their health.

• The ladies in GIFTS Rwanda's New Mother Tailoring Co-Op have received their uniforms and the shirts say GIFTS Rwanda across them! These uniforms create a sense of belonging and teamwork for these ladies who have gone through so much. They are so grateful to you and are proud to show everyone in their community the new skills they are gaining through the donations we have received from people like you. We are so happy for each of them and the bright futures they hold.

• A new new motorcycle has been purchased for our Rwandan team! This will make it possible for Brigitte and Paterne to quickly and safely travel to Rugarika more often to implement and follow up on projects more easily and effectively.
