Have you heard of a TRIPLE match?!

Neither had I. You are not going to believe this...

​We just heard from Boeing (yes... as in the airplanes!) and they are offering us a MATCHING donation up to $10,000. Not only that, but one of their employees has agreed to give us a $10,000 check to gain this match IF WE can come together to raise ANOTHER $10,000 by June 30th to equal $30,000! And this gave me an idea. 

Have you met Thabita?

Thabita is a successful graduate from secondary school where she was able to study electricity. Her job is safe and pays well providing for herself and her family, but it wasn't always this way. Prior to donations from GIFTS Rwanda, Thabita had dropped out of school and worked a low paying and unsafe job because the daily survival needs of herself and her family were unmet. Your donations enable people like Thabita to develop their skills and make a difference for an entire family.

I want to help students like Tabitha receive an education

Thabita's story is not unusual. Not by a long shot. Children are obliged by their parents to help them with the needs of the family to survive. Families entrenched in poverty can't get regular meals, and because of hunger, students drop out of their studies so they can try to feed themselves and their families. School uniforms, materials, and school fees all cost money and most families cannot come up with the costs for their children to attend. And all of this has been greatly exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and war in Ukraine as food and supply prices have skyrocketed in Rugarika.  ​
