You Did It! Thanks to You, We Reached Our Giving Tuesday Goal!

We are thrilled to share that this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign was a tremendous success, and it’s all thanks to your incredible support! Together, with the $20,000 in matching funds, we raised a total of $40,062—TRIPLING the impact on education, housing, and community development in Rugarika.

With your generosity, here’s what we can now achieve:

• Build a meeting room where women can gather for essential discussions on topics like money management, conflict resolution, support groups, soap-making, and puberty/menstruation education.
• Establish a shop where women can sell their handmade products—clothing, beaded bags, soaps, eggs, and vegetables—providing them with a sustainable income.
• Create vegetable gardens at the Multi-Purpose Activity Center, supplying the community with tools, materials, and seeds for farming.
• Support 20 villagers in dire need, including those affected by cancer, HIV/AIDS, and children without parents, by providing food, shelter, education, and supplies.​
• Fund tuition for primary, secondary, and university students, giving them the chance to break the cycle of poverty through education.
